Last Thurs. I made a quick trip to visit my Mom, and family in New Glasgow, NS. Pictured here is Mom (Queenie), and my sister Christena (Sis) and her grandson Joseph. As she was told recently, she certainly doesn't look old enough to be a grandmother. Have a great birthday Sis. Love ya! The middle sister! 
I sure miss you guys, but as you can see I'm having fun with Jeff. By the way, can we adopt him? Two more sleeps, and I get to give you all lots of doggie kisses (even Daddy Warren). I can hardly wait. I hope you're bringing me some doggie treats after deserting me for Mickey Mouse or was it Cinderella? See you all soon. Hugs & Kisses

It's hard to believe nine years have passed since you two were married. God has blessed you both with good health and two beautiful daughters (just to name a few of His blessings). Wishing you many more years together! God Bless!

Brooke celebrated her 4th birthday with friends at her house today. Her special guests were: her big sister Lauryn, Meagan, Caitlin, Allie & her Mom Karen, Rachael & Joshua and their Mom Paula (who is also Lauryn & Brooke's babysitter), Mom & Dad, and Nan and Pop even dropped in with a special gift.
Everyone knows Pop loves cars, and he thought Brooke should be driving in style. It is obvious she loves her new Dora Jeep, and all her friends were quite excited about it too. Brooke received lots of nice gifts from her friends and Grandma and Grandpa Giesbrecht as well, and had a really fun time at her party. The "Curious George" birthday cake Paula made,was a big hit with everyone (a delicious whacky) chocolate cake. 
Brooke is having a PJ party tonight(her friend Caitlin) is sleeping over. So the celebration that started on Wed. goes on. . . Aren't these cute little 'monkeys' sitting on the bed? 
A good time was had by all!
This is a pic of Syd and I in Hawaii, and three more sleeps (Lord willing) we'll be in Punta Cana! Wow! I'm excited, and I'm sure Syd is too, but he just doesn't show it. We plan to take lots of reading for our beach time (he even plans to bring some studying). Well, in preparation for the trip I went to see Tina this morning for my much needed haircut. Today I need to pack and get ready for Brooke's (the birthday girl) sleepover tonight. Then on Sat. night Lauryn is going to have a sleepover since we won't see the girls until they get back from Florida near the end of March. The birthday party (Curious George)is tomorrow morning. Syd got a call from an old school mate last evening (Harvey Priest). They had a long chat about old times.
Thursday is Lauryn's Nanny Day and Lauryn likes her time alone with Nan. However, today she had to share part of it with Brooke because Brooke was a bit under the weather with her cold. Lauryn played on the computer for a bit and created a skating show on Barbie.com. Then she worked on her homework and her spelling words for Friday. After Brooke had gone home we decided we wanted pancakes for supper (of course Lauryn wanted chocolate chips in hers). Pop is the pancake "expert" in our house and since he was working we were on our own. Lauryn thought they were great, although I didn't think they were as fluffy as Pop's. I'm including a couple of pics of Lauryn and I, one at a wedding and the other was when we had our cooking day Dec. 2006.
